Retirment Benefit Counsellor at Kelly

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

• To provide retirement benefits counselling to members of the funds administered by Verso Financial Services. Counselling is provided on the fund options available to new members joining funds as well as to members upon withdrawing or retiring from retirement funds and to the beneficiaries of deceased members. The role also includes targeted counselling interventions as requested by funds' Trustees. The counselling is provided telephonically, as well as face-to-face interactions.

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Retirement Benefits Counsellor will be responsible to assist and support members through:

• Face-to-face, telephonic and written counselling, information and support.
• Technical product knowledge of retirement funds and retirement-related investment products.
• Involved at various stages of new member enrolments, as well as the exit process from retirement funds.
• Maintain and improve counselling registers and reports for submission to the fund Trustees.

CRITICAL CRITERIA:

• This is a contract position. It is an indefinite contract so not sure how long, could turn into perm.
• Company based in Durbanville - Bellville Cape Town
• Work within office
• Face to face and telephonic consultation with clients
• Ability to start immediately
• English, Xhosa (must be African) Would prefer Afrikaans as third language
• 2-5 years experience
• Understand legislation
