Rhovan - Coordinator (Projects) – Fixed Term at Glencore

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Coordinate all project planning, scheduling and progress reporting for the buttressing and associated TSF works.
• Act as single point of contact between operations, engineering, contractors, environmental and safety teams.
• Ensure compliance with applicable TSF management standards and the Mine Health and Safety Act (Act 29 of 1996).
• Manage contractor selection, scopes of work, progress monitoring and performance reporting.
• Facilitate risk management, site inspections, HSEQ compliance.
• Maintain project documentation, technical records and regulatory correspondence.
• Prepare and present regular project status reports to the project manager.

About you:

• Grade 12
• 5 years’ experience in supervisory position
• Supervisory Management certification
• Code 8 drivers’ license
• Computer literate (MS Office, SAP and Coupa)
• Medically fit
• Exceptional leadership skills
• Creativeness, initiative, problem solving skills, take responsibility
• Self-Motivated, tenacity, resilience to reach goals
• Analytical and objective, factual reasoning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (fluent in English)
• Ability to train personnel in safe work procedures and Rhovan’ s code of practices
• Fit to perform work at heights and in confined spaces.
