    TMM (Trackless Mobile Machinery) Operator

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Grade 12
    • Code EC / 14 Drivers License

    SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum 2 years’ experience in civil and road maintenance work
    • Medically fit
    • Ensure work is executed safely and according to procedures
    • Due to Care and Maintenance environment person must be able to work independently

    JOB OBJECTIVES

    In this role you will be responsible to the Co-ordinator (Mechanical) for the following:

    • Operating different TMM`s like the Water Truck, Grader, Front End Loader, TLB, Roller – compactor; Excavator, Tractor or LDV in an efficient and safe manner
    • The operators are responsible for lifting and moving materials, tools or equipment around the plant or at a construction site as required
    • Setting up and operating the Water Truck, Grader, Front End Loader, TLB, Roller – compactor, Excavator, Tractor or LDV
    • When required the role supports the projects team in their duties
    • Completing the pre use checklist prior to operation
    • Active participation during the risk assessments

    System Administrator

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Provide first level support and troubleshooting of our financial systems HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) and TaxPacc (Tax system)
    • Month end assistance to users and System analyst.
    • Provide assistance and advice to business users in the effective use of financial applications.
    • Serve as a liaison and facilitator between all business units and the Business Systems team in addressing and resolving financial reporting software issues.
    • Assist with ad hoc duties as and when they arise.
    • Work in conjunction with the Business Systems team by assisting with drafting business specification documentation to improve configuration of applications and operating procedures for financial services.
    • To analyze, document and propose solutions for large and/or complex business areas.
    • Providing on-the-job training to users of the Hyperion systems.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Grade 12.
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar environment.
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
    • Good working knowledge skills with Microsoft Office Products.
    • Background in Oracle and planning products will be highly advantageous.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • The ability to create logical and innovative solutions to complex problems.
    • Experience in the development and implementation of standards, procedures and guidelines to support operational processes.

    Rhovan - Coordinator (Projects) – Fixed Term

    In this role you will be responsible for:

    • Coordinate all project planning, scheduling and progress reporting for the buttressing and associated TSF works.
    • Act as single point of contact between operations, engineering, contractors, environmental and safety teams.
    • Ensure compliance with applicable TSF management standards and the Mine Health and Safety Act (Act 29 of 1996).
    • Manage contractor selection, scopes of work, progress monitoring and performance reporting.

    In this role you will be responsible for:

    • Ensuring the machine assigned to you is maintained and kept in good working condition.

    Officer (Risk)

    In this role you will be responsible for:

    • Manage compliance and maintenance of the site-wide risk management framework, ensuring alignment with corporate Risk management framework, standards and procedures
    • Maintain and update the plant risk profile, risk registers and risk assessments
    • Facilitate risk identification, risk assessments, workshops and periodic risk reviews across departments
    • Drive implementation and monitoring of Fatal Hazard Protocols (FHPs) and critical control management systems
    • Monitor and verify the effectiveness of critical controls and material risk mitigation plans
    • Support and coordinate Management of Change (MOC) processes from a risk perspective
    • Conduct risk-based audits, inspections and compliance assessments
    • Track and report on risk-related actions, audit findings and corrective action closure
    • Support the implementation and maintenance of HSECQMP systems and SafeWork requirements
    • Facilitate and support catastrophic hazard and high-risk scenario assessments
    • Provide input into risk reporting, dashboards and trend analysis for management
    • Ensure effective utilisation of risk management systems (e.g. Isometrix) and data integrity
    • Provide guidance and support to line management on risk management practices and methodologies

    About you:

    • National diploma NQF6 or higher in Risk Management or related field
    • Minimum 2–5 years’ experience in risk management, safety or compliance within mining, smelting or heavy industry
    • Working knowledge of ISO 31000, ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and OHSAS 18001
    • Experience in Fatal Hazard Protocols, critical control management and risk assessment processes
    • Familiarity with Glencore Risk Management standards and systems will be advantageous
    • Experience with risk management systems such as Isometrix
    • Strong understanding of health, safety, environmental and quality legislation
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving and reporting skills
    • Good facilitation, communication and stakeholder engagement capability
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
    • Computer literate with strong presentation skills

    Engineer (Resources and Reserves)

     In this role you will be responsible for:

    • Maintain and update Mineral Resource and Ore Reserves.
    • Support open-cast mine planning with accurate geological and reserve inputs.
    • Provide strategic resource and reserve inputs to support open-cast life of mine planning.
    • Ensure alignment between geology, mine planning and production team to optimise resource extraction.
    • Monitor resource models against mining performance.
    • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

    About you:

    • Honours Geology
    • Registered with SACNASP as registered scientist
    • Minimum 10 years’ experience in open-cast mining operations
    • Good communication skills
    • Excellent analytical, reporting and team leadership and people management skills
    • Must have own transport and a valid driver’s license
    • Medically fit to perform work at a mine

    • The successful candidate will be reporting to the Artisan (Coordinator and Senior artisan) for operational and functional duties.
    • Will perform breakdowns and planned maintenance of Nkangala Bolters and all Drill Rigs (Sandvik DD210L and Exera XLP 126,GST SQD).
    • Analyzing, reading, and understanding electrical and hydraulic schematics on TMM.
    • Maintaining and repairing mechanical and electrical drilling equipment.
    • Good knowledge and experience of underground trackless mobile machinery.
    • Accurate and timeous completion of assignments (result driven)
    • To ensure that all SAP PM and MM requirements are met for the underground engineering section on a rotational basis.

    Artisan (Millwright)

    In this role you will be responsible for:

    • Ensuring that the required plant availability and reliability is achieved in area of responsibility.
    • Pro-active planned maintenance and equipment services are conducted.
    • Effective fault-finding and repair maintenance in response to production requirements
    • Performing standby duties and respond to breakdowns after hours.
    • Compliance to health, safety, environment, community standards and legislative requirements.

    About you:

    • Grade 12
    • N3 Certificate (including relevant trade theory)
    • Trade Certificate (Millwright)
    • 3 Years post-trade experience as an Artisan (Millwright) in heavy Industrial Plant/Smelter environment.
    • Must have LV/MV switching experience and experience on variable speed drives.
    • Knowledge and experience in instrumentation will be an advantage.
    • A wireman’s license (Installation electrician – IE) is advantageous.
    • Good communication skills and proficiency in electronic productivity tools (tablet, computer, etc)
    • Medically fit, valid driver’s license and own motor vehicle

    Artisan Coordinator (Maintenance) Sinter

    In this role you will be responsible for:

    • Effectively execute the maintenance and engineering functions in the department to reach and exceed equipment availability targets
    • Leading and managing the team of Artisans and contractors in the department
    • In conjunction with the Plant Engineer devise strategies to improve engineering availabilities of the equipment in the department
    • To ensure working procedures are adhered to, updated and complied to according to set standards
    • Maintain housekeeping and high safety standards according to company requirements.

    About you:

    • Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4 qualification
    • N2 with relevant trade theory
    • Trade Test Certificate (Boilermaker or Fitter)
    • National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering will be advantageous
    • 5 years post trade experience in a plant environment.
    • Supervisory experience and skills
    • Computer literate including Microsoft Office, SAP Planned Maintenance system (PAM) and Coupa
    • Sinter Plant, MEP and Furnace experience will be an added advantage
    • Must be able to work under pressure and have excellent communication skills
    • Good Knowledge of the HSEC systems
