About the Role

• We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Risk Management Clerk to join our team in January 2027. The successful candidate will support the organisation's risk management, governance, compliance, and business continuity initiatives while contributing to the identification, assessment, monitoring, and reporting of key business risks.
• This is a 3-year clerkship.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the maintenance and updating of risk registers across various business units.
• Support risk assessments, monitoring, and reporting activities.
• Assist in gathering and analysing risk-related information.
• Conduct research on emerging risks, industry trends, regulatory developments, and best practices.
• Support governance, compliance, and business continuity initiatives.
• Support risk awareness initiatives and communication activities across the organisation.
• Support special projects relating to strategic risk management, scenario analysis, third-party risk, and governance initiatives.

Skills & Competencies Required

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good attention to detail and ability to work accurately with large amounts of information.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to compile reports and present information in a clear and concise manner.
• Professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Eagerness to learn and develop within risk management, governance, and compliance.

Minimum Requirements

• Qualification in Risk Management, Economics, Management Accounting, or a related field (or currently studying towards one).
• Basic knowledge of governance, compliance, and risk management practices.
