Roof Cleaner at Tsebo Solution

• Tsebo Facilities Solutions is looking for a Roof Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of roofs, gutters, downpipes, and associated roof access areas across the resort. The role supports preventative maintenance activities by removing debris, reporting defects, assisting with inspections, and ensuring compliance with safe working-at-height practices.

Duties & Responsibilities    

• Clean roofs, gutters, downpipes, and rainwater management systems.
• Remove leaves, branches, fruit, and other organic debris from roof surfaces.
• Clean, sanitize, and safely remove wildlife contamination where required.
• Assist with routine roof inspections and identify maintenance concerns.
• Report defects, damage, leaks, and safety hazards to the Engineering team.
• Support roof repair, waterproofing, and preventative maintenance activities.
• Ensure roof access points and work areas are maintained in a safe condition.
• Use ladders, access equipment, and personal protective equipment correctly.
• Adhere to all working-at-height procedures, safety standards, and company policies.
• Maintain good housekeeping standards in all assigned areas.

Skills and Competencies    

• Roof and gutter cleaning techniques.
• Safe use of ladders and height-access equipment.
• Basic roof inspection and defect identification.
• Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
• Basic maintenance support skills.
• Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Good housekeeping and asset care practices.

Qualifications    
Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Physically and medically fit to work at heights.
• Ability to safely use ladders and roof access equipment.

Advantageous

• Working at Heights certification/training.
• Previous experience in roofing, maintenance, facilities management, cleaning, or outdoor labour-intensive environments.
• Experience working within hospitality, resort, or commercial facilities.
