The President Hotel has a long and interesting history that can be traced back to the very beginnings of the areas now known as Bantry Bay and Sea Point. A hotel has stood on the site for some 150 years, and before that, the Society House - the first substantial building in the area - stood on this portion of land that once stretched down to the sea and up the slopes of Lion’s Head to Kloof Road.
As we continue our journey toward luxury, we’re looking for hardworking, reliable and hands-on Housekeeping Housemen to join our team on a 6 Month fixed-term contract. Candidates must have previous housekeeping experience within a hotel environment and be available to work for the full duration of the contract.
This is a physically active role supporting Room Attendants and the wider Housekeeping operation by ensuring linen, amenities, equipment and supplies are available where they are needed, while assisting with the cleanliness and presentation of guest and operational areas.
The successful candidates must be comfortable with lifting, carrying and moving linen and supplies, pushing housekeeping equipment, working across multiple floors and remaining physically active throughout the shift.
If you take pride in keeping things organised, enjoy being part of a busy team and understand that exceptional housekeeping depends on everyone working together, this opportunity is for you.
