Run System Analyst at Distell

Purpose Of The Position

The initial assignment will be the maintenance, support and administration of all Logistics Modules including ERP: Warehouse Management, Production Planning, Quality Management, Plant Maintenance and Materials Management. Sales and Distribution and Direct-store-Delivery modules within the Applications Team. These modules include extensive integration with other non-SAP systems and mobile devices and the role will be expected to incorporate an understanding of and the ability to support these integrations going forward.

Key performance areas would include, but are not limited to:

• Analysis and understanding of existing customised application configuration and development.
• Perform 3rd line user support by diagnosing and resolving application problems
• Perform detailed application maintenance, configuration and documentation.
• Prepare functional specifications for relevant application development requests
• Quality assure application configuration and development.
• Identify and report recurring system problems.
• Assess training needs with Training Manager
• Facilitate end-user training on ad hoc basis
• Perform after-hours stand by

The successful candidate must have the following experience/skills but should not be limited to:

• Relevant post-matric qualification
• 3 – 5 Years systems analysis experience in at least 3 modules of SAP ERP WM, PP, MM, QM, PM.
• 1 -2 Years’ experience in SD, DSD.
• Configuration and development specification creation experience in at least 3 of the following modules: SAP WM, PP, MM, QM, PM or the ability to up skill and learn configuration at an accelerated rate.
• Solid understanding of Information Systems and Technology management
• Analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
• A passion for people and service excellence
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral.
• Goal orientated team player
• Ability to work under pressure
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel
