Job Description

• A leading deli meat supplier is looking for a Salami/Dry Supervisor to join their team in Germiston, Gauteng. 

Key requirements:

• Matric is essential.
• A keen, energetic, young, and physically fit individual who is eager to learn and develop within the role.
• Previous experience in the food industry or a relevant qualification would be advantageous but is not essential, as the right candidate can be trained.
• Someone capable of working hands-on, overseeing the salami and dry-cured product rooms, monitoring products throughout the curing process, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring that temperature, pH, humidity, and other specifications are consistently met.
• The ability to manage and oversee a team of approximately 6-8 individuals.
• A valid driver's license and own vehicle would be beneficial, although reliable transport is essential.

Working hours and additional information:

• Monday to Friday, 6:30 am to 4:30 pm.
• Weekend and public holiday shifts may be required for half-day periods, with additional pay provided over and above the basic salary.
• No overtime is offered.
