Barlady / Waiter at Phoenix Recruitment

• Bush Lodge based close to Musina is looking for a friendly and service-focused Barlady / Waiter to join its team.
• The successful candidate will provide welcoming bar and dining service, ensuring guests enjoy attentive hospitality throughout their stay.

Duties:

• Welcome guests and provide professional food and beverage service.
• Take orders accurately and communicate requests to the kitchen.
• Prepare and serve drinks according to lodge standards.
• Set up dining areas and the bar before service.
• Maintain knowledge of menus, drinks and daily specials.
• Handle guest enquiries and communicate dietary requirements accurately.
• Clear tables and keep service areas clean, organised and well stocked.
• Assist with beverage stocktakes, replenishment and stock rotation.
• Process bills and payments accurately where required.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and responsible alcohol service procedures.
• Assist with guest hosting and other lodge duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a waiter or bar service role, preferably within a lodge, hotel or restaurant.
• Basic knowledge of beverages and drink preparation.
• Good communication and guest service skills.
• Friendly, professional and well presented.
• Reliable, organised and attentive to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently during busy service periods.
• A positive team attitude and willingness to assist where needed.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
