    Sales Administrator

    Main Purpose of the Job

    • Complete general administrative and accounting tasks efficiently and effectively in order to ensure professional service delivery to customers.

    Education, experience and competencies

    • Matric and Diploma in administration, sales/commercial sales
    • 2 years' experience in a similar role preferably from the manufacturing/mining industry
    • MS Office (advanced Excel) Syspro (advantage)
    • Experience in compiling and submitting tender documents.
    • Excellent communication and people skills.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Valid Driver's License.

    Responsibilities

    • Review and understand products’ margins while increasing profits through the sales process.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers through professional conduct, regular follow-ups, diplomatic communication and service delivery that meets deadlines.
    • Proactively deal with customers/stakeholders to ensure that issues are resolved and relationships strengthened.
    • Perform any reasonable ad hoc tasks and duties required by management.
    • Review and understand products’ margins while increasing profits through the sales process.
    • Maintaining and updating sales and customer records.
    • Create and compile monthly sales reports.
    • Compiling vendor applications.
    • Liaise with departments ensuring changes affecting sales are completed.
    • Maintaining and updating all tender records.
    • Create and maintain weekly CRM reports.
    • Ad hoc processing of quotes and orders.
    • Attain expediting reports from field service customers.
    • Assist with admin-related tasks throughout the sales department.
    • Use various digital systems to identify new sales opportunities.
    • Minimise daily costs and wastage (e.g. use of equipment, stationery, etc.)
    • Continuously support effective teamwork within the department.
