    Sales Advisor (Weapons)

    The successful candidate will report to the Assistant Manager.

    Responsibilities:

    • Advising clients and providing customer service;
    • Facilitating sales transactions;
    • Placement of replenishing stock orders, monitoring in-stock items, and management of stock levels;
    • Ensure that shelves are kept clean and tidy as well as monitoring product prices to ensure that the correct prices are always displayed;
    • Checking of firearms register and ammunition register;
    • Processing of license documentation; and
    • Handling and storage of firearms and ammunition.

    Skills and qualifications:

    • Grade 12 qualification;
    • Valid driver's license;
    • Fluent in Afrikaans and English;
    • Computer literacy and knowledge of the MS Office package;
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a service delivery mindset;
    • Experience in marketing will be an advantage; and
    • Competency and registration to trade in firearms, as well as:
    • Handle and use of a handgun (SAQA US 119649);
    • Handle and use of a semi-automatic rifle or carbine (SAQA US 119650);
    • Handle and use of a hunting rifle, lock action rifle (SAQA US 119651);
    • Handle and use of a shotgun (SAQA US 119652);
    • Knowledge of Firearms Control Act.
