    Sales Analyst

    Job Brief:

    • PURA Beverage is looking for a well-organized and meticulous Sales Analyst to join their sales team. The ideal candidate will vastly support the sales team and the organisation in making data driven decisions. The Sales Analyst will be responsible for compiling and analysing sales and market data and providing valuable feedback and actionable insights to guide the organisations promotional and sales activities.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Ownership of company sales dashboard including compiling of dashboard and data gathering from retailers and distributors
    • Assessing sales data for their organization by examining the monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports to identify sales patterns and areas for improvement
    • Collect, analyse, evaluate and report data to increase sales productivity
    • Monitoring and evaluating sales performance
    • Assist management in developing and reviewing the sales budget and rolling sales forecast including sales to budget variance analysis
    • Co-ordinate the complete sales reporting and forecasting process for all sales channels (Key Accounts, Regional Sales)
    • Communicate sales reporting and sales forecasting to Senior Management
    • Weekly and Monthly submission of direct sales reports, as determined by the Head of Sales
    • Regularly prepare reports and presentations for Senior Management and other internal stakeholders. These reports can include data on market performance, competitor research, and general sales trends
    • Preparation of customer and partner business reviews when required by Head of Sales.

    PURA Cooler & asset management

    1. Manage cooler repairs
    2. Manage cooler movement, placement & approvals thereof
    3. Calculate, track & communicate Cooler return-on-investment (ROI) monthly
    4. Manage cyclical verification of cooler placement and update Finance for asset register purposes
    • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop sales quotas and strategies
    • New Customer listings – Completion of documents and gathering of required information.
    • Customer Portal Management and pulling of adhoc reports (e.g. sales & stock)
    • Source sales data from Partners / Distributors / Customers as required, on a bi-monthly basis or as required
    • Oversee calculation and communication of monthly targets to PURA Pioneers
    • Source sales data and stock on hand (incl. expiry dates) from Distributors on a bi-monthly basis or as required
    • Identify markets to target with marketing and promotional efforts or determine how to best set the company apart from its competitors
    • Sales Team Administration, including expenses, & Travel Bookings

     Key Attributes

    • 1-2 years’ experience in sales analysis in beverages or FMCG with credible quality references
    • Diploma or studying towards a degree in business management will be advantageous
    • Work meticulously under pressure with attention to detail
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information to a broad audience
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and within a team environment
    • Excellent group presentation skills
    • Excellent Computer literacy
    • Well-organized and responsible with an aptitude in problem-solving
    • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
    • Enthusiastic team member with excellent people skills –ability to connect with and nurture relationships with clients, customers, colleagues, suppliers, and service providers
    • Advanced excel skills with the ability to quickly capture and manipulate data (incl using pivot tables)

    Due to the Nature of the business and the phase in its lifecycle, you will be required to support and perform activities outside of the above described role, as well as occasionally outside of the standard operating hours.
