Sales and Marketing Intern at Sandvik

Purpose of the role:

• This opportunity is ideal for a candidate who wants to gain practical experience in sales and marketing within environment.

The job responsibilities:

• Support the sales team with daily administrative and coordination tasks
• Assist in sales lead generation and prospecting activities
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis
• Assist in preparing sales proposals, presentations, and marketing materials
• Maintain and update customer CRM system
• Help coordinate client meetings, quotations, and follow-ups
• Support marketing campaigns and initiatives
• Assist with planning, coordination and submission of marketing publication requirements adhering to strict submission deadlines
• Assist with sales reporting and tracking sales activities/initiatives
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure efficient customer service and delivery
• Participate in client engagement and relationship-building activities

Profile Required

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Management, or a related field including Engineering/Metallurgy will be considered where ambitions are to grow in a sales environment
• Exceptional Performance on the above will be advantageous.
