Job Description

• A prestigious, multi-estate wine group in South Africa is seeking a dynamic and strategic Sales and Marketing Manager to drive commercial growth and brand equity across its diverse portfolio of premium wine brands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Brand Management: Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies for multiple distinct wine brands across local and international markets.
• Revenue & Market Growth: Drive trade sales, distribution channels, and direct-to-consumer strategy to meet and exceed revenue targets.
• Portfolio & Trade Marketing: Oversee campaign execution, promotional calendar alignment, product launches, brand activations, and trade show representations.
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong partnerships with distributors, key retail accounts, hospitality partners, and export agents.
• Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to identify new market opportunities.
• Financial & Budget Oversight: Manage the departmental marketing budget, evaluate campaign ROI, and align sales forecasts with operational targets.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
• Proven experience in a dual Sales and Marketing Manager role within the wine industry.
• Demonstrated track record of successfully managing and scaling multiple wine brands simultaneously.
• Deep knowledge of local trade channels and international export markets for South African wines.
• Strong commercial acumen with expertise in contract negotiation, pricing strategy, and brand positioning.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
