    • You will be responsible for obtaining Controls and Digitalisation Business in Africa’s Energy Sector supported by an exciting and proven Portfolio, thus ensuring to bring Energy to all to support economic growth inAfrica.

    You Need

    • 4-5 Years’ Experiencein a Business Development / Front-End Sales / After Sales Function with exposure to Controls &Digitalisation Technologies and Products
    • Ability to Work Efficiently and Effectively in a Cross-Functional/ International Team
    • Ability to Work to Tight Deadlines, in a Competitive Team,with Discipline, Attention to Detail andHigh Work Ethic.
    • Ability to Work on Fast-Paced Customer Engagements, including Outsideof Business Hours.
    • Ability to meet Travel requirements.
    • “Ownership” Character, Self-Driven, Problem-Solving Approach, Result Oriented, Open Communicator, Confident Character, Willingness and Passion to achieve Business Objectives – be the hunter.

    Responsibilities

    • Identify and Develop Controls and Digitalisation Opportunities for Siemens Energy’s Product and Service Portfolio Solutions in the African Energy Sector – grow the pipeline
    • Build and Maintain a Customer Focused Network, understanding customer procurement procedures and approvals - Customer Relationship Management on all levels for assigned Customers
    • Prepare, Co-ordinate and Negotiate Commercial, Technical and Financial Proposals in cooperation with Bid Management and/or Other involved Professionals and Management
    • Complete Sales and Revenue related Key Reporting
    • Development of After-Market Business in Africa
    • Act as a Single-Point-of-Contactto Customers in Business Matters and influence collaboration within Controlsand Digitalisation to secure Customers
    • Full Responsibility for assigned customers in Africa with personalized Order Entry Targets based on an agreed overall Sales Business Target Agreement
    • Structuring the project in view of possible partners and competitors, with focus on the customers technical requirements within the Africa region.
    • Provide regional requirements for product development inputs and target pricing
    • Adherence and understanding to Siemens Energy policies and processes (Compliance, LOA, Signatures mandates)

    What You Bring

    • Relevant tertiary qualification
    • Extensive knowledge and experience with Siemens Energy Products and Service Portfolio
    • Strong Communication Skills with an Excellent ability to support Customers in Africa
    • Africa Business Development Experience is desirable.
    • Familiar with Business Tools: Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce andTableau
    • Excellent fluency in English is essential. French, Portuguese, Arabic language skills are desirable.
