    Sales Assistant | Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape

    Job description:

    To handle mostly administrative tasks and take on client-facing duties in order to aid and support the Sales Team/Insure Advisers. The position will focus on personal and commercial lines business.

    Responsibilities:

    • Liaising with clients and product providers
    • Client face to face meetings, if necessary, at the Office
    • Obtaining details and information of clients
    • Preparing quotations for new and existing clients
    • Issuing of new policies
    • Recording details and information on all relevant systems
    • Handling client queries
    • Building and maintaining good working relationships with clients and all internal stakeholders
    • Manage client retention
    • Understanding policy wordings and various products
    • Reporting and target driven
    • Providing intermediary service and advice to clients within SLA (service level agreement)

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Matric
    • NQF 4 or 5 in short term insurance and RE 5 (Advantageous)
    • 3 - 5 years’ experience in Financial Services/Insurance Industry
    • Computer literacy (MS Office and Client/Policy systems)
