What will you do?
Office Location – Pavilion Building, The Wanderers Office Park
City : Illovo, Sandton
- Assist national sales team with loading quotes for brokers.
- Providing quotes to brokers and negotiating rates in line with guidelines and senior underwriter level mandates.
- Assist brokers with quotes and product queries.
- Assist with broker on-boarding.
- Assist with broker training requirements, i.e. product specific training.
- Responsible for quoting and underwriting relationship with Prive.
- Collation of documents for corporate type accounts and referral to Prive team.
- Referral to Team Leader in terms of Prive outcomes.
- Forging strong relationships with internal portfolio managers and regional managers.
- Forging new and maintaining existing relationships with brokers.
- Analysing current business trends and be able to influence strategic decision-making.
- Regular feedback and reporting to Team Leader including the preparation of presentations, written reports, etc. with statistical data which will be used to support business decisions.
What will make you successful in this role?
Knowledge and Experience:
- Min. NQF 4 level qualification – short term insurance
- 5 years short-term insurance-related experience in a commercial environment
- RE 5 advantageous

Qualification and Experience
- Degree or Diploma or Grade 12 with 3 to 5 years related experience.
