Sales Customer Service Representative 1 at Smith+Nephew

What will you be doing?

• The role is responsible for customer service activities in their assigned geographical area and reports to the Customer Services Manager.
• This role calls for the effective, efficient and accurate receipt and transcription of telephonic and other orders from Medical Market Customers.

What will you need to be successful?

• Handle customer queries expeditiously and maintain the necessary records of normal and special trading deals, Tenders, as well as document control.
• Ensure all customer account and trading details are accurately recorded and maintained, as well as the essential links in this connection with Central Credit Control.
• Responsible for regular courtesy and follow-up customer contact calls to maintain service and information relationships.
• Responsible for telephonic and emailed orders from designated customers, ensuring that all customer details, order content and pricing are correct before capturing, releasing and filing.
• Processes official orders, and orders brought in by Sales Representatives.
• Advising customers of any incorrect prices noted on official orders and clears up uncertainties and incorrect information on official orders. 
• Processes Quotations, Escalations and SPAs, ensuring that deadlines are timeously met.

Successful candidates would need the following:

• Matric Qualification
• Commercial Degree
• Minimum of 3 years in a similar role
• Customer Service Experience
