    Sales Executive

    Job Requirements
    The following points outline the job requirements:

    • Following up new business opportunities and setting up meetings
    • Planning and preparing presentations
    • Communicating new product developments to prospective clients
    • Writing reports and providing management with feedback
    • Identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products and services
    • Seek out the appropriate contact in an organisation
    • Generate leads and cold call prospective customers
    • Meet with customers/clients face to face or over the phone
    • Ensure smooth handover to Customer Success Executive / Team to implement and support what was sold
    • Complete client requirements document
    • Client renewals, cross-selling and upselling
    • Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
    • Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
    • Work strategically and tactically - carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes
    • Draw up client contracts and work with other departments to ensure legal and financial compliance
    • Ensure that the purchase orders are received from the client
    • Have a good understanding of the businesses' products or services and be able to advise others about them
    • Discuss promotional strategy and activities with the marketing department
    • Attend seminars, conferences, events where appropriate and actively do research to keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world and EMG’s area of business more specifically
    • Help to plan sales campaigns
    • Create a sales pipeline
    • Negotiate pricing with customers, and suppliers in some cases
    • Carry out sales forecasts and analysis and present findings to senior management.

    • Achieve set revenue growth as agreed with management within specified timeframes
    • Delivers an outstanding client experience.
    • Works in collaboration with the team, developing good working relationships.
    • Ensures compliance with EMG’s values, policies and standards, and ensures compliance with all local statutory requirements.

    • Ability to think out-of-the-box to achieve targets
    • Ability to set priorities and have high flexibility to adjust based on changes in priorities
    • Good relationship building skills
    • Good verbal communication skills

    • Good documentation skills

    Experience:

    • Experience in medical rep sales, pharmaceutical sales, marketing or brand management.
    • Pharmaceutical sector experience a must.
    • Experience in a b2b phone and in person sales environment
    • Consistent 3-5 year track record of success in achieving and succeeding sales targets
    • Proven ability in targeting new business opportunities
    • Confident negotiator with proven ability to close the deal
    • Positive and determined approach to researching and analysing new business opportunities.

    Qualifications:

    • Business Management Degree/Diploma
    • Sales certification
    • Bachelors degree preferable.
