    Sales Manager

    • Our client is a C&I energy solutions provider specialising in energy management systems, monitoring solutions, cloud services, and energy optimisation for commercial and industrial clients.
    • The Sales Manager will be a client-facing professional responsible for representing the company in the market, building strong client relationships, and driving adoption of its energy management solutions.
    • This role combines sales, account management, and product evangelism, ensuring that clients not only adopt the company’s solutions but also fully understand and benefit from them.
    • The ideal candidate will act as the face of the business, bridging the gap between the technical team and clients.

    Key Responsibilities
    Client Engagement & Relationship Management

    • Visit existing and prospective clients regularly.
    • Build strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for client communication.
    • Ensure clients have a clear understanding of the company’s capabilities.

    Sales & Business Development

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the C&I sector.
    • Present energy management solutions to potential clients.
    • Prepare proposals, quotations, and follow-ups.
    • Work towards monthly and quarterly sales targets.

    Product Promotion & Education

    • Demonstrate EMS features and updates to clients.
    • Translate technical functionality into clear business value.
    • Educate clients on energy savings opportunities, demand reduction strategies, and system optimisation.

    Account Growth & Upselling

    • Identify opportunities to expand existing client deployments.
    • Promote new features, modules, and services.
    • Drive adoption of EMS upgrades, monitoring solutions, and cloud services.

    Market Feedback & Strategy

    • Gather feedback from clients on product performance and needs.
    • Relay insights to technical and product teams.
    • Help shape future product development based on real-world use.

    Required Skills & Experience

    • 3–7 years’ experience in technical sales, the energy/solar industry, or B2B solutions sales.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills.
    • Comfortable engaging with engineers, facility managers, and executives.

    Highly Advantageous

    • Experience in solar PV, energy systems, inverters, energy management systems, or industrial/commercial environments.
    • Basic technical understanding of power systems, including kW, kVA, load, PV, and battery systems.
    • Understanding of energy cost-saving concepts such as TOU and peak shaving.

    Soft Skills

    • Confident, professional, and personable.
    • Self-driven and able to work independently.
    • Strong problem-solving mindset.
    • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
