    Sales Manager (Ecommerce)

    About the role:

    We want an experienced, client centric salesperson with existing contacts and industry knowledge who can help us grow our new clients. You will be the frontline ambassador of our company, responsible for driving sales growth and acquiring new eCommerce clients. Your focus will be on building strong relationships, understanding customer needs, and offering tailored logistics solutions to meet the demands of online businesses.

    Your ability to work independently to drive sales growth and build client relationships will set you apart. Additionally, your knowledge of the eCommerce and marketing environment will make your transition into the role seamless.

    The role is new and, in its beginning, stages the day-to-day will entail:

    Sales performance

    • Meeting targets by building strong relationships with clients by understanding their logistics requirements and providing timely and relevant solutions.
    • Engage in consultative selling, actively listening to clients' needs and presenting appropriate logistics services that align with their business goals.
    • Reporting on sales activity with clear pipeline movements to reach individual targets.

    Product knowledge

    • Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring excellent customer service throughout the sales process.
    • Acquire a deep understanding of our eCommerce logistics offerings, pricing, and service capabilities, that includes eCommerce fulfilment, warehousing, and Last Mile Solutions.
    • Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to effectively communicate the value of our services to clients.

    Client relationships

    • Forming new relationships with relevant clientele and building your own pipeline.

    Collaboration

    • Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure smooth service delivery and exceed customer expectations.
    • Work closely with the marketing team to support promotional activities, campaigns, and lead generation efforts specific to eCommerce logistics.

    • Ability to learn and live the ideals of the products and value proposition.
    • A qualification in sales, marketing, or business development.
    • Customer-centric approach to problem solving.
    • Attention to detail and ability to work without supervision.
    • Proficiency in MS Office.
    • A collaborative and proactive mindset.
