    Sales Manager (Transport Solutions / Logistics)

    About the job

    • Our client is looking for a Sales Manager who comes from a background of developing IT/transport solutions for the logistics industry. This person must also have solid sales experience within logistics (commercial) and must be able to lead a team.

    Responsibilities

    • Taking over operative and commercial activities for the location in South Africa
    • Developing and implementing of sales actions for the ZA market
    • Coordinating the sales team as well as supporting the Area Sales Managers, also in the operational area
    • Coordinating various staff topics with our central HR department in Kempten
    • Supervising, supporting and providing management oversight to staff

    Experience

    • 3+ years' of sales experience
    • Must have managed sales people
    • Solid network of potential clients
    • Must be fully bilingual (German speaking will be advantageous)
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Must be willing to travel extensively
