    Sales & Marketing Manager

    Job Description

    • You will be responsible for discovering, developing, and hunting new sales opportunities.
    • Your focus will be on actively building the pipeline and accelerating revenue growth, by continuously marketing and selling the company’s services, with particular focus on a core product, in affiliation with an international organisation
    • A crucial part of the role will be to have relevant discussions with new and existing clients whilst also presenting and adapting solutions to meet their needs
    • Manage the sales process from beginning to end, including lead generation, prospection, qualifying leads, presenting value proposition of offering, managing sales pipeline, and closing deals with key decision-makers. Ability to move deals through difference sales stages efficiently.
    • Pursue identified new business opportunities through prospecting and networking (Be the contact person for prospective clients and maintain ongoing conversation).
    • Researching the target industry to discover prospecting opportunities, along with maintaining updated information about clients and leads to ensure relevant engagement.
    • Preparation and management of sales meetings.
    • Be able to outline key aspects and value proposition of research solutions
    • Be up to date with latest topics and major industry events.
    • Regular reporting on leads, opportunities, and pipeline
    • Accountability in meeting sales target as agreed.
    • Transforming data into compelling marketing content, leveraging the product data in order to support sales and generate awareness of the company in the broader market.
    • Generating marketing content in line with agreed targets
    • Development of content that positions the company as an industry authority.
    • Crafting of social media posts and website content to promote data and insights available
    • Working with partners to ensure content is optimised for search engines and user engagement.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Marketing (MBA an added bonus)

    Skills

    • Minimum of 3 years in B2B and/or service-related sales (proven track record in B2B or service sales)
    • Background in research, insights or new business development within a market research agency.
    • CRM proficiency is an advantage but not a must.
    • A passion for working with people, teams and delivering sustainable business.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Calm under pressure, ability to multi-task
    • Strong business and commercial acumen and an ability to identify opportunity.
    • Naturally, we also expect excellent written and spoken English skills.
    • Excellent at building relationships and being extremely personable and client facing is crucial (ability to build rapport with client)
    • Excellent negotiation skills
    • Self-motivated to achieve targets and goals.
    • Problem solving skills – Able to identify client challenges and offer a tailored solution, along with ability to extract key insights for marketing storytelling.
    • Ability to deliver results, meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
    • Attention to detail.
    • The position requires 1 day in the office, you must be able to work independently and towards targets.
