    Sales Officer Manager

    Job Purpose

    The purpose of the Sales Office Manager position is to complete all tasks associated with the sales department to ensure the smooth operation of the Johannesburg sales team.

    Job Objectives and Functions

    Office Administration 

    • Schedule meetings and appointments
    • Partner with HR to coordinate new recruits
    • Ensure all equipment is ready and functional for new recruits
    • Organize office operations with Ops department
    • Coordinate with IT on all office equipment and ensure it is functional
    • Ensure that all invoices are paid on time

    Customer assistance 

    • Answer and direct phone calls
    • Email, message or call back request to customer.
    • Resolve escalated issues.
    • Give feedback on resolved issues to clients
    • Follow up on non-resolved issue.
    • Check stock availability.
    • Ensure samples are fully stocked in the showroom.
    • Coordinate coffee and muffin vouchers with showroom staff.

    High Value Customer orders

    • Create high value order request.
    • Engage with the category Merchandiser to get quote from supplier.
    • Share VIP quotes to the allocated RC/ RM
    • Share Classic Customer quotes to the allocated RC.
    • Escalate unresolved queries to ASM.
    • Timeously Provide feedback to Customers

    Branding Orders

    • Confirm with customer if order is a deadline or urgent order.
    • Liaise with the Planning department to determine capacity.
    • Negotiate capacity with Production.
    • Once capacity is negotiated, delegate back to sales capturer.
    • Ensure payment is allocated to customer account.
    • Communicate scheduling date with customer.
    • Follow up with planning to confirm that order is progressing as planned.
    • Escalation of tracked orders which are delayed.
