    Sales Representative (Africa)

    Suprema ID are looking for a results-driven hunter Sales Representative with excellent interpersonal skills and extensive biometric sales experience to actively seek out and engage customer prospects in Africa.

    This position is open to applicants that reside in Africa, preferably South Africa. 

    Your contact base, experience and drive will ensure that you provide complete and appropriate solutions for customers in order to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels and profitability.

    Responsibilities

    • Present, promote and sell products using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
    • Develop and manage a sales pipeline of new prospects and clients
    • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
    • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
    • Expedite the resolution of customer issues to maximize satisfaction
    • Achieve agreed upon sales targets
    • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
    • Analyse the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
    • Provide management with weekly and monthly reports on trends, customer needs, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
    • Keep abreast of best practices and product / solution trends
    • Continuously improve through feedback 

    Requirements

    • Proven experience as a Sales Representative selling biometrics products and solutions such as banking, telco as well as ID management business
    • Extensive experience selling products and solutions in Africa
    • Highly motivated and target driven
    • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
    • Familiarity with CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships
    • Excellent selling, negotiation and communication skills
    • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
    • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
    • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
    • Self-motivated
    • Able to work remotely
    • Able to travel into Africa on a regular basis
    • Preferably a Bachelor’s Degree in business or a related field

    Remuneration

    • Remuneration will be based on a fixed monthly retainer and commission on your sales.

    Basis of employment

    • Annual contract to be reviewed annually
    • You will be responsible for your PAYE, medical aid and retirement contributions.
