Sales Representative REF :SRP2601 at KWV

Purpose: To promote KWV brands and products within a specific geographic area by visiting Liquor outlets (mostly Off Trade outlets) as per a contracted call cycle in order to increase visibility of the KWV brands and increase sales.

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric/Grade 12, a relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous
• At least 2 years relevant experience in FMCG
• Experience in the Liquor industry will be advantageous
• Computer literate on an advanced level
• Must have a valid driver’s license without endorsements as well have own vehicle
• Availability for frequent business travel and possible overnight stay
• Fluency in Sepedi, Xitsonga and Tshivenda will be advantageous

 Skills Required:

• Strong sales skills and experience
• Sound communication skills and the ability to read, write and communicate in English
• Strong negotiating, relationship building and networking skills
• Must have a passion for interacting with customers and a passion for customer service
• Must be self-motivated, innovative and self-driven
• Must be a South African citizen

 Job Summary:

• Develop and manage sound customer relationships
• Educate consumers regarding KWV brands
• Drive distribution i.e. availability
• Handle customer and consumer complaints and queries
• Manage sales administration requirements i.e. prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports
• Visit customers as per a fix contracted call cycle
• Implementation of the KWV way of selling
• Negotiate displays and pricing
• Ensure the implementation of the Sales Drivers
• Implement promotions and Point of sale/merchandising in store
