    Sales Representative REF :SRG2301 - Westrand

    Purpose: To promote KWV brands and products within a specific geographic area by visiting Liquor outlets as per a contracted call cycle to increase visibility and promote KWV brands with the aim of driving increased sales.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Matric/Grade 12, a relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous
    • At least 2 years relevant experience in FMCG
    • Experience in the Liquor industry will be advantageous
    • Computer literate on an advanced level
    • Must have a valid driver’s license without endorsements as well have own vehicle
    • Availability for frequent business travel and possible overnight stay

     Skills Required:

    • Strong sales skills and experience
    • Sound communication skills and the ability to read, write and communicate in English
    • Strong negotiating, relationship building and networking skills
    • Must have a passion for interacting with customers and a passion for customer service
    • Must be self-motivated, innovative and self-driven
    • Must be a South African citizen

     Job Summary:

    Business Development Representative REF :BDRK2301

    Purpose: To ensure exposure, increased sales and achievement of targets by representing the company and its brands, by visiting On-consumption outlets (clubs, bars, etc.) and in the process grow the KWV customer base within a specific geographical area.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Grade 12, a relevant tertiary qualification in sales and or marketing will be advantageous
    • Obligatory evenings and weekends work
    • At least 2 years relevant experience in FMCG, experience in the liquor industry will be advantageous
    • Computer literate on advanced level
    • Must have own vehicle and a valid driver’s license without endorsements
    • Must have the ability to communicate in English (verbal and written)
    • Experience in wine & brandy and/or a wine certificate from Cape Wine academy or WSET will be an advantage
    • Sommelier experience will be an advantage

    Labeler Operator REF :LOP2401 - Paarl

    Purpose: The incumbent needs to ensure that all procedures are followed regarding the labelling and packaging process. Ensure that they will be responsible for and continually strive to do their part to ensure that only a safe, quality product that meets all applicable standards and requirements is manufactured.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Grade 12
    • Relevant experience in terms Labeler operation would be an advantage
    • 2-3 years’ experience in a production environment
    • Must be willing and able to work shifts and overtime if and when required.

    Knowledge Required:

    • Knowledge and understanding of HACCP in a production environment
    • Good understanding of Manufacturing Process and waste reduction

    General Worker REF :GWP2401

    Purpose:  The incumbent is required to perform manual bottle packing, partition inserting, light inspection and general ad hoc functions. This position is based at Line F Production line.

    Minimum requirements:

    • Grade 12
    • 2-3 years’ experience in a production environment
    • Must be willing and able to work shifts and overtime if and when required.

    Knowledge required:

    • Knowledge and understanding of HACCP in a production environment
    • Good understanding of Manufacturing Process
    • Understanding Quality in a production environment
    • Basic knowledge of process control systems and standards

    Skills required:

    • Basic numerical and technical skills
    • Administration skills
    • Good communication skills (English & Afrikaans)

    Machine Operator REF :MOPB2601

    Purpose: 

    This position will assist the winemaking team in the red wine cellar in daily winemaking activities as needed; including but not limited to tank-to-tank transfers, additions, racking, maintain general cellar hygiene and administrative duties. The incumbent will be required to operate specific process/ machines according to working instructions within the Wine Cellar.

    Minimum requirements:

    • Grade 12
    • 3 – 5 years relevant experience in a Cellar environment
    • 2 years’ experience in operating specific process/ machines
    • SKOP 3 qualification
    • Ability to operate multiple machines will be advantageous
    • Valid Forklift License will be advantageous
