Salesforce Build & Release Engineer at Hire Resolve

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute the full build and release process for Salesforce applications.
• Create and maintain deployment strategies to support Salesforce environments.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to streamline and enhance release processes.
• Maintain deployment documentation to ensure accurate tracking of releases.
• Monitor and troubleshoot release-related issues.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce projects.
• Conduct regular audits of the release processes and tools to identify areas of improvement.

Requirements

• Matric
• A BSc Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, a BComm Business Information Systems (BIS) Degree, or a very high quality Technikon Diploma.
• 3+ years of experience in Salesforce development, deployment, and release processes.
• Experience with Application Lifecycle Management tools (ALM)
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce Services, including Apex, Lightning Components, and Visualforce.

Salesforce DX for packaging and deployment

• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Experience with various development & scripting languages: Apex Scripting, JavaScript and Bash
• Hands on experience with various operating systems and environments: Linux and Windows

Experience with collaboration & development tools:

• SCM - Git distributed source control
• Build – GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins
• Deploy – Salesforce DX, GitLab Pipelines
• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Salesforce certifications are a plus.
