• We are looking for an energetic, results-driven Product Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our brand in-store—driving sales performance, ensuring optimal shelf presentation, executing promotional campaigns, and delivering exceptional service to every customer.

Key Responsibilities

Drive Sales & Sell-Out Performance:

• Actively engage in-store customers to promote and sell products, driving sell-out figures and meeting daily/monthly sales targets.
• Implement persuasive selling techniques and highlight key product features and benefits.

In-Store Sales & Marketing Execution:

• Represent the brand with high professionalism, enthusiasm, and product knowledge.
• Execute promotional activities, product demonstrations, and brand awareness initiatives.

Shelf Health & Merchandising Standards:

• Maintain pristine shelf health, ensuring stock visibility, clean displays, correct pricing labels, and proper stock rotation (FIFO).
• Monitor stock levels on shelves and report low-stock or out-of-stock situations promptly.

Implementation of Promotions:

• Ensure all active campaign collateral, point-of-sale (POS) materials, and promotional stands are correctly installed and aligned with brand guidelines.

Customer Satisfaction & Exceptional Service:

• Provide welcoming, professional, and knowledgeable assistance to all customers.
• Resolve customer queries effectively and create memorable in-store brand experiences.

Administration & Reporting:

• Complete and submit accurate daily/weekly sales reports, stock counts, and customer feedback.
• Maintain up-to-date administrative records as required by management.

Job Requirements

Education:

• Diploma or NQF Level 5 qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (Essential).

Experience:

• 2–3 years of proven experience in retail sales, sales promotion, or customer-facing roles.
• (0–5 years overall experience across retail, sales, or customer service environments will be considered).

Core Skills & Competencies:

• Sales Acumen: Strong ability to cross-sell, up-sell, and close sales effectively.
• Marketing Principles: Sound understanding of in-store merchandising, customer engagement, and sales funnels.
• Customer Service: High emotional intelligence, active listening, and a customer-first mindset.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Administration & Computer Literacy: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) for reporting and communication.
• Self-Motivation: High energy, dynamic personality, and ability to work independently in a retail environment.
