SAP Data Analyst: Mining at AECI Limited

Job Description

• Extract, transform, and load data from SAP systems into data warehouses and data lakes
• Develop and maintain data pipelines to ensure data quality and availability
• Analyse SAP data to identify trends, patterns, and insights
• Create reports and dashboards to communicate data findings to stakeholders
• Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures
• Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement data-driven solutions
• Maintain SAP Master Data (Customers, Vendors, GL, Fixed Assets, transport rates)
• Execute all regular transaction processes necessary to maintain operations records and databases
• Liaise with relevant stakeholders to gather and document the detailed data requirements for SAP
• Engage in discussions with development and business teams regarding design of financial data processes and associated changes/ improvements
• Collaborate with data stewards, data owners and stakeholders to establish the data requirements for master data
• Assist with identifying internal control weaknesses and develop and implement improvement opportunities
• Comply with Safety, Health and Environment standards

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field
• Master’s degree (advantageous)
• 3+ years’ experience as SAP Data Analyst or in a similar role
• Certifications in SAP or data analysis
• Experience with cloudbased data platforms, such as AWS or Azure
• Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI)
• Strong understanding of SAP systems including SAP HANA, SAP BW, and SAP BusinessObjects
• Experience in Data Management, Data Warehousing, Data Lake Technologies and Data Analysis Tools
