Key Responsibilities:

Finance and Accounting Solutions Specialist

• Apply architectural guidelines and principles to solutions.
• Participate actively in QA, Design Authority, and other governance forums, ensuring quality designs and solutions are well-tested and deployed.
• Act as the liaison between business teams and the system integration (SI) project team.
• Validate, socialize, and secure buy-in for business processes within the Greenfield SAP S/4 HANA implementation.
• Identify and escalate risks or issues to project management while managing mitigating actions.
• Define archiving requirements and integrate these into an overarching strategy for legacy and SAP solutions.
• Understand end-to-end processes, identify gaps between standard SAP functionality and critical business needs, and address integration requirements with third-party solutions.
• Ensure technical design and implementation align with business processes while complying with internal and external audit requirements.
• Facilitate the integration of third-party solutions and oversee reporting requirements, data migration, and validation processes.
• Support the development of authorization roles, training material, cut-over plans, and business continuity plans.
• Review and approve key project documents such as blueprints, test plans, training material, and support processes.
• Conduct integration and user acceptance testing, ensuring all defects are addressed.

Change Management

• Support functional leads and the project’s change management team with business readiness activities.
• Provide training and coaching to business leads to ensure go-live readiness and post-implementation support.
• Equip stakeholders with knowledge to support system changes and drive successful adoption of SAP solutions.

Quality Management

• Oversee unit and integration testing of the system, validate testing results, and ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Contribute to audit controls for system migration and live operations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• IT Diploma or degree.
• At least 8 years of experience in SAP Finance and Accounting implementations or support.
• Expertise in FICO, AP/AR, Group Reporting, and Asset Accounting.
• Experience with SAP Solman and the SAP Activate methodology.
• Proven ability to test and implement fully integrated SAP solutions as part of major transformation projects.
