    Key Responsibilities and Tasks

    • PartnerEdge Program Managers serve as a member of a professional business development “virtual” team; they provide leadership and drive the execution of indirect growth plans. They collaborate with all internal stakeholders (sales, sales operations, legal, compliance, maintenance/support, finance, …) to drive continued simplification and automation of our end-to-end partner engagement.
    • Lead the Partner Program Adoption & Execution in Africa Region (incl. South Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, East/West-Africa, French Africa).
    • Provide support to Sales in the usage of indirect commercial models, supporting key opportunities.
    • Effect the deployment and execution of Channel incentive models. Advise on complex indirect deal structures, including maintenance transfers, cross-country requests, Cloud Extension scenarios, multi-VAR competitive scenarios, Deal Registration, Partner mergers etc.
    • Execution of SAP’s Cloud transformation agenda: Liaise with Commercial teams, Deal Desk teams, Global Programs to ensure timely introduction of new commercial models and frameworks.
    • Closely align with OEC to ensure the compliant operation of the Partner programs, reflective of SAP's desired risk profile.

    Additional Tasks
    Partner Program

    • Respond to internal users on the Partner Program, across all tracks on program related queries
    • Amplify the messaging regarding Next Generation Partnering and be deemed a subject matter expert

    Run Simple

    • Continually improve our processes and communications through collaboration
    • Drive continued simplification and automation of our end-to-end partner engagement
    • Take on ad-hoc projects as directed by the management


    and Educational Requirement


    • 8-10 years in experience, preferably existing experience in Business Development and Operations Management.
    • Robust commercial and data analysis skills
    • Demonstrable experience in streamlining processes to support efficiencies and simplification
    • Experience in managing projects to tight deadlines
    • Team player with a “can-do” attitude
    • Results orientation, with an attention to detail
    • Exemplary verbal and written communication skills coupled with strong presentation ability


    • A strategic thinker with an ability and desire to be hands-on and directly participate in business transformation.
    • Analytical skills in structuring complex topics and proven track record of simplification (thinking out of the box)
    • Strong business and commercial acumen (obtaining credibility quickly) and ability to successfully work with Leaders.
    • Humility to serve the Partner experience and internal Sales stakeholders to support in whatever way it takes.
    • Exceptional project and program management skills.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills (must).
    • English (must)


    • Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited university (Law, Business degree preferred).
    • MBA or advanced degree desirable
