SAP Principle Consultant-Functional at Ovations Technologies

Role Overview

• The Principal SAP SuccessFactors EC & ECP Consultant will drive business analysis, solution design, configuration, and integration for Employee Central (EC) and Employee Central Payroll (ECP). You will play a fundamental role in realizing business benefits across core HR and payroll, ensuring seamless system performance and integration across multiple enterprise modules.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Design & Integration: Lead end-to-end solution design and integration between SuccessFactors EC, EC Payroll, and downstream financial/IT systems (including Point-to-Point replication).
• Configuration & Support: Configure, maintain, and optimize SAP SF EC and ECP modules to support complex payroll rules, schemas, wage types, and core HR workflows.
• Business Analysis: Translate business and payroll requirements into practical functional specifications, optimizing operational delivery across functional areas.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Provide high-tier support, manage system updates, perform root-cause analysis, and ensure compliance across payroll processes.
• Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborate closely with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to guide technical decisions, system enhancements, and project deliverables.

Minimum Requirements

Experience & Technical Skills

• Track Record: 8+ years of hands-on SAP Payroll experience, with deep functional expertise in SuccessFactors EC Payroll (ECP) and Employee Central (EC).
• Core Competencies: Extensive knowledge of SAP ECP engine, schemas, PCRs, wage types, Integration Center, and P2P replication.
• Full-Cycle Execution: Proven ability to handle rapid configuration, system testing, integration troubleshooting, and payroll stabilization.
• Work Setup: Must be available for a 3-month contract on a hybrid working model based in Sandton.

Education & Certification

• Education: Relevant Tertiary Qualification in IT, HR, or related field.
• Certifications: Official certification in SAP SF Employee Central Payroll and/or Employee Central (Strongly Preferred).
