Job Description

• Act as a role model and reinforce a workplace culture where safety and health for the site is paramount.
• Review and assess impact of critical risks and monitor effectiveness of critical controls relevant to work area.
• Identify PUE’s and monitor critical control performance within teams.
• Create safety reports and manage analysis of KP’Is based on available data.
• Report deficiencies and implement plans to address deficiencies.
• The assurance that the master data on the SAP maintenance system is accurate, reliable and in the required format to ensure optimal use and the correct output from the system.
• The assurance that the BW and SAP PM systems are functional at all times and that corrective actions are taken when any problem arises.
• Manage adherence to compliance governance within the teams.
• Conduct site inspections to identify and escalate non-compliance.
• Use systems to monitor compliance and manage non-compliance.
• Participate in audit.

This role is in the Maintenance Planning Department at a Band 7 level reporting to the Specialist Engineering CI & IT.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or N3 Technical Matric
• National Certificate N4 (Engineering Related Studies) or
• National Certificate in Asset Maintenance Management (NQF Level 5) and
• SAP PM Certificate is advantageous
• BW (Business Warehouse) Certificate is advantageous
• Valid South African Driver’s License essential

Experience:

• 3-5 years with SAP PM
• 3-5 years planning and scheduling experience in mining
• Winshuttle and Prometheus experience is advantageous
