About The Unit

Based in Standerton, Mpumalanga, Yara Africa Fertilizers Business Unit Africa has an opportunity for a Scheduler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have worked in an agricultural fertilizer company.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, manage deliveries and collections to customers
• Coordinate in bound deliveries
• Maintain schedule and distribute to relevant parties
• Oversee SAP functionality, production, goods receipt and issuing of loads
• Maintain good communication with market and keep sales informed of all relevant activities
• Assist in the planning, forecasting and procurement of raw materials and trading goods, local purchases and stock transfers
• Assist in the development of plans for operational activity
• Implement agreed operational plans
• Contribute to maintain minimum stock levels
• Adhere to occupational health and safety standards
   

Profile

• Grade 12 with some work experience in logistic planning and scheduling
• Experience in planning, forecasting, and budgeting of trading goods
• Ability to work independently within a diverse but geographically remote team
• Bilingual (Afrikaans and English)
• Computer literacy (SAP, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
