The School Marketer Intern will assist the Sales and Marketing team in promoting Freedom Stationery’s products to schools across the Cape Town region. The intern will play a supportive role in implementing marketing initiatives, strengthening customer relationships, and enhancing brand visibility within the education sector.
Key responsibilities will include:
Assist in planning and executing school marketing activities and promotions.
Support the sales team during school visits, exhibitions, and educational events.
Distribute marketing materials and samples to schools and distributors.
Conduct basic market research and collect customer feedback.
Update and maintain the school database and contact lists.
Assist with administrative tasks, reporting, and follow-up communication.
Represent Freedom Stationery professionally at all times.
This role is ideal for a motivated and enthusiastic graduate who is eager to gain practical experience in marketing and sales while contributing to Freedom Stationery’s mission of delivering quality stationery solutions to schools.
Job Requirements
National Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field.
Basic understanding of marketing principles and customer engagement.
Computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and professional attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
High level of enthusiasm, self-motivation, and willingness to learn.
Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to schools within the Cape Town region (advantageous).
South African citizen residing in or around Cape Town.
