Bachelor of Science: Medicine Honours: Human Genetics, HPCSA Registration in Relevant Register and Practice Field
Required Experience:
2 general working experience in Molecular Laboratory Environment, Experience on next generation sequencing platforms, Knowledge: HPCSA regulations, Knowledge: Meditech system, Knowledge: Occupational Health and Safety Act (OSHA), Knowledge of Bioinformatics and Genomics software tools
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the implementation and quality assurance of new assays to ensure best practices are upheld., Assist with the training of learner scientist to ensure competence., Maintain good client relations to promote the image of Ampath., Perform accreditation and quality control related tasks to ensure standards are upheld., Receive and process specimens in order to ensure efficient delivery of results.
