• The ideal candidate works autonomously and acts as a senior providing professional advice, managing and/or coordinating the work of others. Maintains the status of the project and monitors the activities of team members, leading projects using available frameworks and tools and establishing project plans with on-time and on-budget project goals. Senior Professional working as a member of consulting services organisation with a customer focused approach using different software solutions to provide expertise in the particular domain.

Responsibilities

• Leads Business Agility projects of moderate scope and sometimes complex assignments.
• Fully understand the capabilities and limitations of the technical environments and translates business requirements into a functional and technical implementation
• Keeps informed on business data and implements solutions for technological and process improvements within the context of overall business processes.
• Co-ordinates the information gathering and reporting process, reviewing trends and comparing to expectations. Identifies relationships and linkages, anticipates issues and identifies root causes and effects.
• Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement and work across teams to achieve group goals.
• Develops a network to support and add value to client engagements including company, clients and external professional networks

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience
• Achieved a formal certification as a Scrum Master, Kanban Lead, Lean Six Sigma certification or similar Agile approach
• Achieved a formal certification in SAFe®

Desirable:

• Project management knowledge
• Additional course or certification in Business Consulting
• Certified functional consultant in any one specific domain

Technical:

• Proven experience in leading multiple teams in agile software delivery approaches, at least 12 to 24 months real experience as a Scrum Master.
• Proven experience in coaching development teams (including distributed teams) who are new to an agile software delivery approach.
• Demonstrates Lean Thinking and an Agile Mind-set in how they work internally and externally.
• Actively involved in the Agile community through participation, publications or speaking events.
• Intermediate theoretical knowledge in business consulting methodologies and has awareness of new and emerging technologies and developments.
• Has good applications/technology knowledge, building on specialist domain knowledge. Has practical experience of and is proficient with tools and frameworks required to deliver.
• Strong understanding of the business consulting lifecycle and experience with all stages of the product development lifecycle (concept to launch).
• Proven ability in assuring project meets quality standards by providing guidance and developing procedures relating to product quality.
• Experience in applying problem-solving methodologies and tools to diagnose and solve operational and interpersonal problems.
• Experience in providing guidance to enable others and solving technical queries from junior colleagues.
• Highly proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Is skilled at co-ordinating the information gathering and reporting process, reviewing trends and comparing to expectations.
• Experience and track record of successful contribution to delivery utilising multiple project management methodologies / framework, tools and techniques.

Desired Skills

• Proven track record of operational knowledge to embed SAFe® principles and practices within delivery teams together with coaching abilities.
