Seafreight Import Controller at Toll Group

Job Description

• Follow-up orders within origin (Port of Load), including full contact details of the supplier and cargo to POL
• Arrange for picking up of the cargo collection at origin and obtaining booking details.
• Registering of new shipments and Ensuring following all necessary processes with regard to Customs clearance and transport documentation
• Ensuring files are invoiced and documents are sent out to clients prior to them receiving cargo and containers
• Resolving internal and external clients’ complaints

Qualifications
About you:

• At least 2 years’ experience as See freight import controller
• Knowledge of EUR1  certificates, VOCs and incoterms
• CW1 knowledge 
• Matric – 12. Grade education degree
• Well-organized, a team player as well as self-disciplined and you are understanding of the Accounting process. (debits vs credits)
• Relevant degree or diploma in Logistics would be advantageous
