Section Manager: Mechanical at Armscor

Job Description: 

• To manage the Mechanical Section in order to deliver to the client engineering services of maintenance, fault diagnosis, repair, manufacturing and operational capability enhancement, testing, setting to work, alignment, acceptance trials and engineering changes of ships and submarine’ s Mechanical Systems, and certify systems operation for vessel combat readiness.

Qualifications:

• B. Eng/ B. Sc. in Mechanical Engineering degree. Added advantage: Post-graduate Project Management qualification A GCC and/or registration with ECSA

Experience:

• At least 7-9 years post qualification experience in maintenance and repairs in a marine or related engineering environment. Minimum 2 years management experience. Sound technical Knowledge in the Maintenance and repairs of Mechanical systems. Project management experience will be an added advantage.
