Qualifications:

Experience:

• 3-5 years administrative experience, preferably in a security, defence, or highly regulated environment. Experience in working with classified material, system-based reporting, and database management. Previous exposure to stakeholder liaison in a sensitive or security-controlled environment.

• To provide a technical oversight on ship repairs, fabrication, hull maintenance, installation, continuous improvement of construction processes and systems and engineering changes on Warships and Submarines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Engineering Technology (BTech) Degree – Mechanical Engineering

Experience:

• Minimum 4-7 years post qualification technical experience in the Mechanical Engineering and manufacturing field. Added advantages: Experience in Marine and military industrial environment. Experience in the manufacturing and boat building field

Job Description:

•  To manage operational and administrative services that enable the compliant acquisition process, tracking and, marketing, and disposal of conventional arms, ensuring alignment with applicable legislation, treaty obligations, and Armscor’s strategic objectives.

Qualifications:

• Grade 12. Bachelor’s degree in International Law, Defense & Security Management, Compliance, Public Policy or related studies. Postgraduate qualification in International Law, Defence & Security Management, Compliance or Public Policy is advantageous.

Experience:

• Minimum 6 years of experience in an arms control environment or a related field, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or team leadership role. Extensive experience in the implementation of arms control systems.
• Proven experience in the arms control industry, with sound knowledge and understanding of South Africa’s national conventional arms control and non-proliferation legislation, as well as foreign requirements related to the treaty on conventional arms.

Job Description: 

• To manage the Mechanical Section in order to deliver to the client engineering services of maintenance, fault diagnosis, repair, manufacturing and operational capability enhancement, testing, setting to work, alignment, acceptance trials and engineering changes of ships and submarine’ s Mechanical Systems, and certify systems operation for vessel combat readiness.

Qualifications:

• B. Eng/ B. Sc. in Mechanical Engineering degree. Added advantage: Post-graduate Project Management qualification A GCC and/or registration with ECSA

Experience:

• At least 7-9 years post qualification experience in maintenance and repairs in a marine or related engineering environment. Minimum 2 years management experience. Sound technical Knowledge in the Maintenance and repairs of Mechanical systems. Project management experience will be an added advantage.
