Key performance areas

Reception Management & Administration

• Dealing with admissions and processing enrolments.
• Handle parent, student, and employee relations via telephone, email, and in person.
• Book appointments and arrange meetings for the Preschool Head and educators.
• Provide administrative support to Preschool Head and teachers.
• Welcome and direct visitors appropriately.
• Manage queries/issues at reception and provide school information.
• Issue and capture new applications; explain school requirements to parents.
• Manage absenteeism of staff and children.

Finance & Marketing Support

• Assist with public relations and marketing events.
• Capture details on lead sheets for marketing statistics.
• Facilitate loading of payments and vendors.
• Handle general finance queries from parents.
• Provide general administrative support as required.

Qualifications, experience and skills

• Minimum: Grade 12.
• Advantageous: Receptionist or Secretarial certification.
• Experience: At least 2 years in a receptionist or administrative role (experience in an educational institution advantageous).
