Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12
• NQF level 5 in Security/Management Assistance
• PSIRA registered (Grade C)
• 1 years in a similar environment

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide protection for all exterior government properties regarding unauthorised use
• Conduct regular patrols of interior and exterior of government properties to establish and maintain security controls
• Monitor and responds to technical security alarms installed in government buildings
• Maintains good working relations with local law enforcement agencies
• Conduct casual surveillance on all members of the public entering station buildings relative to irrational behaviour
• Issues parking enforcement control tickets as required
• Administers first aid to members of the public or government employees who may receive injuries when on premises
• Attend to public queries and complaints
• Attend to public telephonic enquiries and refer to the relevant stakeholders
