    Security Guard - George

    Description

    • Control contractor building access
    • Direct and communicate approved contractors on site
    • Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety requirements to ensure contractors & maintenance staff are compliant at all times
    • Respond to emergencies
    • Conduct security checks for specified areas
    • Ensure that all the assigned areas are patrolled at regular intervals
    • Observing for signs of crime or disorder and investigating disturbances
    • Apprehending criminals and evicting violators
    • Monitor and report any irregularities.

    Requirements

    • Grade B or C Officer
    • Speak & write fluently in English
    • Sober habits
    • Well groomed, friendly & polite
    • Trustworthy & reliable
    • Working knowledge of basic security techniques, emergency evacuation procedures.
    • Valid PSIRA certificate
    • No criminal record
    • Working hours 8am – 5pm & overtime as required
