Senior Admin Officer: SCM Demand Management at Department Of Public Works And Infrastructure

REQUIREMENTS :

• A minimum of three-year tertiary qualification (NQF Level 06) in Supply Chain Management/Public Procurement /Purchasing Management /Public Management /Public Administration /Logistics Management /Financial Management. Relevant experience in Procurement/Supply Chain Management and Supervisory experience. 

DUTIES :

• Conduct a market and industry analysis, consult with relevant stakeholders to determine their challenges, opportunities and risks, review previous procurement and identify the frequency of needs. Analyse the identified needs in line with Supply Chain strategy, collect data commodity analysis and checking for alternatives, contribute to determining and developing products proposals for implementation based on the results of the research.
• Facilitate the process of developing the Departmental Annual Procurement Plan, Facilitate and advice on the process of drafting specifications/terms of reference, Provide secretariat support to the relevant Committees. Ensure compliance with prescript requirements to all submissions. Perform quality control on the work delivered by SCM clerks.
• Provide information on audit queries. Update the relevant database. Supervise and Manage staff work performance. Perform any other assigned duties in relation to the implementation of the supply chain management.
