Senior Architectural Technologist (Production): Education Infrastructure, Ref No. DOI 24/2025 R1 at Western Cape Government

Job Purpose    

• The Department of Infrastructure, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent individual to assist in design and execute the architect’s conceptual designs.

Minimum Requirements    

• Bachelor of Technology in Architecture (B.Tech) or relevant qualification as recognised by the South African Council for the Architectural Profession (SACAP)
• A minimum of three years post qualification Senior Architectural Technologist experience
• Compulsory registration with SACAP as a Senior Architectural Technologist
• A valid code B (or higher) driving license.

Key Performance Areas    

• Provide technological advisory services: Support Architects and associates in site surveying, preparing measured drawings of existing buildings, collecting of practical information relating to the proposed project and prepare presentation drawings and models of the design; Perform administrative and related functions: Compile and submit monthly and quarterly reports; Research and development: Keep up with new technologies and procedures.

Remuneration    

• Grade A: R 429 930– R 462 084 per annum
• Grade B: R 486 543 – R 522 741 per annum
• Grade C: R 556 080 – R 654 252 per annum (OSD as prescribed).
