    Senior Area Manager - Johannesburg

    Who You Are:

    What You Have Done Before:

    Baseline:

    • At least 5 years’ experience with all of these linked to Sales, Retail, Fuel and Marketing 
    • NQF level 7 degree or Advanced Diploma in Marketing/Sales/Finance or relate
    • Exceptional problem-solving skills
    • Deep knowledge of FMCG

    Advantageous:

    • 3 years’ experience as an Area Manager 
    • Ability to work successfully in an ever-changing environment and navigate ambiguity
    • Demonstrated ability to make decisions
    • Advanced business management skills or desire to acquire the same
    • Experience working with franchise businesses

    • Applies knowledge in a challenging marketplace to advance the organization’s profitability goals
    • Driving the profitability of the 1Stop & 1Plus and all sites in your network area
    • Creates HSEQ compliance Dealer network
    • Effectively communicate, control and measure retail standards and disciplines for a better performance of the Network
    • Operate effectively, even when things are not certain or the way forward is not clear

    What You’ll Be Doing:

    • Proactively driving profitability and implementation of regional growth initiatives
    • Building relationships with the dealers and all stakeholders
    • Measuring retail efficiency standards and disciplines as well as HSEQ compliance
    • You’ll create a safe working and shopping environment for site staff and customers
    • You'll leverage on national promotions and programs to increase profitability of dealer network
