    Senior Backend Software Engineer

    Requirements:

    • Backend architecture and development experience of at least 4 years.
    • Good knowledge of solid modern design/architectural patterns
    • Node.js experience, with at least one large project
    • Strong communication skills
    • Good eye for detail
    • Technical leadership experience is a plus

    Tech stack:

    • Node.js (Typescript)
    • GraphQL
    • Docker/Kubernetes
    • Elasticsearch
    • MongoDB
    • RabbitMQ
    • Redis

    Responsibilities:

    • Helping the backend team de-couple parts of the current application
    • Implementing new features as required, working closely with mobile and web frontend teams
    • Maintaining good code quality, ensuring robust design as the business scales and identifying opportunities for refactoring
    • Mentoring the backend team as it grows
