Job Purpose

Key Performance Areas
Application Software Development
- Develop existing applications and contribute to development of new applications by analyzing and identifying areas for modification and improvement
- Develop new routine applications to meet customer requirements
Testing IT Performance
- Design and perform website/applications software tests and respond to user emails to monitor, diagnose, and correct performance issues
Applications Software Maintenance
- Monitor, identify, and correct more complex software defects to maintain fully functioning applications software
Application Software Roadmap
- Maintain road map to facilitate application software development and ensure the development work is prioritized in line with business requirements
Information Security
- Implement and provide input on the design of required security measures such as firewalls or message encryption, monitoring performance to notify security experts of any problems
Documentation and Back up
- Create and maintain technical and/or user documentation to a high standard and back up files to ensure instant recovery if problems occur
Horizon Scanning
- Maintain understanding of current technology, database management, and/or programming practices through ongoing education, conference attendance, and industry press

Computer skills
- Proven experience as a BI Developer as well as Qlikview/Sence developer front end as well as loaders
- Industry experience is preferred
- Background in data warehouse design and data mining
- In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical
- processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework, and Analytical tools QlikView or QlikSense.
- Familiarity with BI technologies PowerBI
- Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services(SSRS), SQL Server
