Senior BI developer at Salt South Africa

• Servicing the business's BI and data needs
• facilitating & supporting a range of self-service products for standardised insights in QlikSense and QlikView
• Automation of operational and financial reports to internal and external stakeholders
• Preparation of reports from raw data on an ad-hoc basis
• Working closely with the Engineering and Machine Learning teams to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
• This includes managing how we store and access data and must consider the growing data volumes of a rapidly scaling business.
• Working closely with all of our teams to understand their data and BI needs.
• Facilitating access to the required data and also striving to make access to information as seamless as possible.
• Responsible for providing means/tools for location (geospatial) data visualisation. This is crucial for a delivery data-driven business
• Responsibility for ensuring data integrity. This includes validation, integrity testing, cleansing, modelling and merging of data.

Your experience and qualifications:

• You have a degree in the related fields of computer science, engineering, statistics or mathematics.
• You have experience working with big data sets from multiple sources
• You have worked in the field of BI and data for 5+ years
• You have deep knowledge of Qlik
• Python knowledge is certainly an advantage
